Hello

My name is Chrissie Grace and I am the Owner and Director of Palette Art Studio in Winter Springs, Florida. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Art Education from the University of Central Florida and my Masters Degree in Art Education from The Art of Education. I have been teaching art in different capacities since 2004, and it has always been my dream to have my own Art School.

I live in Winter Springs with my husband and children, and I am a proud supporter of our community.

My Story

If you know me, you know that art is my passion in life!

I have been creating since I was a young girl, and my journey has included many interesting and fun twists and turns.

I have created murals and mosaic installations for the City of Orlando. I have written and published four instructional art books for Northlight Publishing, and created many designs that were licensed for gift and home decor lines, including a greeting card line with Leanin' Tree. I have ran a successful online shop for many years, where I sell my own paintings and mixed-media work. The work that I most proud of though, is teaching.

I have taught at Seminole County Public Schools at both the elementary and middle school levels. I have also taught in a private Montessori setting, and I've run private art camps in the summer for many years. I've also had the pleasure of teaching at adult workshops across the country.

My personal philosophy is that there is no better place to learn than in an art room. Not only because we learn about art techniques, art history, the world and culture, but because we learn about ourselves. Art is where we can not only make mistakes, but we can celebrate them. Art is where we get a chance to be ourselves and be free to express our emotions. Art is a place where there is no right or wrong, there is just space to be creative and messy and explore new ideas.
